I started writing this as Boston-raised college student in Maryland.
My first post was on November 3rd, 2004, the day after Election Day. Kerry had lost by a nose in two key states, but it was being trumpeted as an overwhelming victory for the forces of the right. I couldn't fit everything I had to say on my away message, so I started blogging. And now i work in government. Go figure.
